Chris has almost 20 years of working in the Hospitality industry, starting his career in a fast food venue and moving into nightclubs and pubs. After serving his time picking up glasses and he moved into management, after which he spent 6 years on the road traveling around Australia taking on different management roles in different venues.
Moving to Darwin in 2013 Chris took on a role in one of Australia's largest hotel groups and honed his management skills before deciding his passion was in the Training sector.
He joined Karen Sheldon Training in January 2021 as a Hospitality and Retail trainer and has since additionally expanded into developing pre-employment programs, Foundations skills, and Leadership & Management training.
Chris currently holds a Diploma of Leadership and Management, Diploma of Hospitality Management, Certificate IV Training and Assessment, Certificate III in Retail, Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways, and the 'Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice' Skill Set.
