This is the program for you!


Karen Sheldon Training helps young Australians reach future goals by finding new ways to improve their lives. Our focus is on learning new skills, creating opportunities and pathways to a better life.


As part of this commitment all Karen Sheldon companies and programs are active in their efforts to Close the Gap on Indigenous disadvantage in employment and education.

We will help you by:

  • Goal setting and developing your individual pathway plan

  • Providing culturally appropriate and job-specific training

  • One-on-one Mentors to support you

  • Resume writing and job application assistance

  • Weekly catch-ups for support

  • Training, education, and activity programs

  • Gaining work experience

  • Getting you a job that you want

  • Providing support to stay in the job

  • Counselling and referrals

  • Leadership skill development


Are you eligible?

  • Aged 15-24

  • Located in Alice Springs

  • Working an average of 8 hours or less per week for 13 weeks

  • Available for up to 15 - 25 hours per week for 12 months

  • Not currently enrolled in education
